Pauline Gibbons

Pauline Gibbons has published extensively in the area of English language education and is the author of three books with Heinemann: English Learners, Academic Literacy, and ThinkingScaffolding Language, Scaffolding Learning; and Learning to Learn in a Second Language. Her language teaching experience includes work in Hong Kong, Iran, Germany, Laos, Thailand, Singapore, South Africa, Marshall Islands, UK, USA, Sweden, and Australia, among other locations. She is currently a professor at the University of Technology , Sydney, Australia, where she teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in the education of English learners.
