Directed by literacy expert and author Irene Fountas, the Lesley University Center for Reading Recovery and Literacy Collaborative is a leader in literacy professional development for teachers and administrators, literacy interventions for struggling readers and writers, and comprehensive school programs for PreK–8. The Center's training and programs are consistently linked to student achievement—including improved reading, writing, and language skills, and more positive student/teacher perspectives on literacy instruction.
