Harry Ross

Harry Ross is the coauthor with Steven Zemelman of the Heinemann title 13 Steps to Teacher Empowerment. He has witnessed the power teachers can develop. A former English teacher and now chair of the Secondary Education Department in the National College of Education at National–Louis University, Harry works with teachers and principals to make schools into more rewarding, collaborative, and effective communities. 13 Steps to Teacher Empowerment combines his and Steve’s experiences with those of dozens of teachers to share what works for educators who strive for excitement and excellence in their work.
