Associate Director of the Center for Educational Technology at Middlebury College, Hector Vila is a writer, teacher, and consultant. He has written and spoken extensively about instructional technology, particularly as it pertains to English studies and liberal arts in general. Vila also contributed a chapter to Teaching in the Twenty-First Century (Falmer Press, 1999).
