Cynthia W. Langrall is coauthor of Introduction to Connections, Grades 6–8, part of Heinemann's Math Process Standards Series. She is a professor in the Mathematics Department at Illinois State University. A former classroom teacher, she now teaches undergraduate and graduate students and works with teachers in professional development settings. She conducts research in mathematics education and has been published widely in journals and books.
