Meghan M. Shaughnessy is an elementary teacher educator and researcher at the University of Michigan School of Education. She designs and enacts practice-based teacher education courses focused on elementary mathematics. Her research focuses on the study and improvement of elementary mathematics instruction. Meghan received a PhD in mathematics education from the University of California, Berkeley.
