Overview
This session deepens participants' understanding of multiplication concepts developed with Do The Math. Participants gain familiarity with the mathematical content of the modules and increase their confidence in the use of the eight instructional principles. They explore the Math@Heinemann Learning and Teaching Framework and consider how it can elevate instructional decisions.
Outcomes
- Articulate key concepts and strategies from the multiplication modules.
- Support students' ability to make sense of and reason about multiplication concepts and solve problems.
- Make learning experiences accessible to all students without compromising the rigor in the lessons.
- Utilize the Math@Heinemann Learning and Teaching Framework to reflect on effective Do The Math instruction.

Time Requirement
A full-day session schedule is five (5) hours of meeting time, plus a lunch break.
Participant Group Size
The ideal maximum number of participants for this session is 30. Larger group needs will be accommodated on a case-by-case basis.
