Four, 75-minute webinar sessions from 4:00pm to 5:15pm Eastern Time (ET). Please note that this webinar series is scheduled for Eastern Time (ET). The webinar addresses the structure of the reading workshop and common questions about differentiation and classroom routines. The four sessions include practical instructional ideas for planning and supporting multilingual learners through each component of the reading workshop: planning, whole-group and small-group instruction, guided learning experiences, and reflection and sharing. Each component of the reading workshop includes a brief overview with relevant and supporting research. This is accompanied by instructional ideas and examples from the classroom implementation. Suggested children's literature titles and student samples are included to support instructional strategies. The classroom examples and instructional ideas will include primary and intermediate classrooms and lessons related to poetry, fiction, and informational text.
