How do I subscribe to the Digital Library?

Click on the Digital Library link under Online PD, press the Subscribe Now button, enter the quantity of annual subscriptions you wish to purchase (&ldquo:1” if just for yourself), press the Buy button, and proceed to checkout.


After I purchase a Digital Library subscription what happens next?

You will receive two emails including an order confirmation from the Heinemann online support team, followed by a product activation email from the Digital Campus (Heinemann’s On-Demand PD platform). This second email will walk you through creating your Digital Campus account. If you want to preview these emails and new account set up steps here's our Quick Start Guide.


What does the Digital Library cost?

Yes, with limitations. Refunds will be granted within a specific timeframe of the start/purchase date.

Digital Library access is 1 year from the date of purchase.


What titles are available in the Digital Library?

For a full list of titles currently available, see the Digital Library page. Please note that this list is subject to change. We will be adding more titles throughout the year.


When will new content be available?

Who developed these offerings?

All the books, articles and videos in the Digital Library have been developed by a combination of Heinemann authors and other experts - classroom teachers, principals, district coaches, educational consultants, researchers, journalists, artists, and psychologists. I like in-person PD...is Heinemann eliminating it?

No. We like in-person PD too! We developed Online PD options because not every teacher is able to attend one of our in-person offerings. We'll continue to do both.


Do I need any special technology or equipment to participate?

No. All Digital Library content can be accessed on any Internet enabled device, including iPads. We recommend that you have the most recent version of your preferred browser. A more detailed set of technology requirements is available during the participant registration process.


Are there any special plug-ins, browsers, drivers, etc. needed for accessing Digital Library materials?

Yes, you will need to use an updated version of Safari, Firefox, or Chrome browser software in order to read the books in the Digital Library. You can download the most recent version of these browsers by clicking the icons below. The books in the Digital Library must be read while logged into your Digital Campus account via one of these web browsers.
