Paula Ressler

Paula Ressler is Assistant Professor of English and Director of English Education at Illinois State University. She co-coordinates the Bloomington–Normal Safe Schools Program, a professional development program designed to inform teachers, counselors, and school administrators about LGBT issues and intersecting identities and to help create safer and more welcoming schools. Since 1988, Dr. Ressler has been researching LGBT educational issues in K–12 and university settings.
