Nancy Mellin McCracken is Assistant Professor of Curriculum and Instruction and English and coordinator of the English Education program at Kent State University. She has published a number of essays on the teaching of literature, language, and composition and conducts workshops with teachers on writing across the curriculum, whole language assessment, collaborative learning, and teaching response to literature.
