Speaker Bio

 

Frank Serafini is the author or coauthor of the Heinemann titles More (Advanced) Lessons in Comprehension (2008), Around the Reading Workshop in 180 Days (2006), Lessons in Comprehension (2004), Reading Aloud and Beyond (2003), and The Reading Workshop (2001). He is Associate Professor of Literacy Education and Children’s Literature at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, teaching courses in children’s literature, literary theory, and literacy research.
