Our professional learning opportunities are developed by the authors and delivered by consultants, experts in the field of education.
What is the cost?

The pricing for Professional Learning opportunities range depending on your needs. Please contact your local account executive to learn more.
Do you delivery in-person or virtually?

We deliver both in-person and virtually.
Is there a limit to the number of teachers that can participate?

Site-Based Learning is designed to be highly interactive. As such, they are intended for small groups of teachers, a maximum of 30 participants.
What is the lead time you need to schedule a site-based session?

We require a 4-6 week lead time when scheduling a site-based session.
Who are the Heinemann consultants that deliver School-Based Seminars?

Heinemann consultants are former and current educators. Each possess strong backgrounds in teaching and have excellent presentation skills. Because consultants represent the work of Heinemann authors, who, themselves, are nationally noted, highly reputable leaders in the field of language arts, Heinemann has a high obligation to ensure the consultants who deliver professional learning opportunities have our authors' confidence. As a result, Heinemann consultants are a select group. Each of them has either been identified by a Heinemann author, him- or herself, or has been chosen in collaboration with the author whose work he or she will be representing.
How long are site-based sessions?

Our professional learning days are six hours when we deliver on-site and five hours virtually. We offer full days, half days virtually, as well as flexible hourly contracts, delivered over a period of the school year.
What is the difference between site-based learning and a Heinemann Event?

Site-based learning opportunities are developed in collaboration with Heinemann authors and are provided on-site by Heinemann Consultants. Heinemann PD events are offered at either an off-site venue or virtually and are available in various durations and formats. They are most often presented by Heinemann authors, their consultants or topic experts and are available to individuals and groups. Visit our Events page to explore Heinemann Events.
